Dodin's best result in a Grand Slam was at the 2018 Australian Open, reaching the fourth round
Former top-50 player Océane Dodin has made a unique career move—after falling out of the live Top 800 ranking—by announcing her collaboration with the adult content platform OnlyFans. She is leveraging her strong social media presence (over 75,000 followers on Instagram) to secure an alternative income stream after nearly a year away from the courts.
The French player was absent from the courts due to inner ear health problems that caused vertigo, leading to a significant drop in her ranking. She took advantage of her time off to undergo cosmetic breast augmentation surgery.
Dodin was open about her choices during her break: "I'm not ashamed to show that I underwent breast surgery. I've wanted to do it for a long time,” commented the Frenchwoman in an interview with RMC Sport. : "It's true that I took advantage of this break because I told myself that since you have to stop about two months after the operation, when you're in the season, it's not possible. So I said to myself, 'if I'm going to stop for six months, I might as well do what I want'."
"And then I prefer to do it now than at 40, when I'll have finished my career. I'm very happy to have done it, I don't regret it at all, and it doesn't bother me."
Dodin had played her last match of 2024 in Limoges, falling in the first round to Switzerland's Celine Naef. Since then, her appearances on the Tour were scarce until this week, when she returned at the WTA 125 Angers. However, she was defeated in the first round in a tight match against the first seed, Alycia Parks (6-7, 7-5, 3-6).

"The tennis meets sensuality"

While she is currently ranked World No. 742, her defeat in Angers will cause her to lose points gained in 2024, dropping her further to approximately No. 816 in the ranking. The Frenchwoman still has one last tournament to play at the WTA 125 Limoges in a week, which will feature stars such as 2-time Grand Slam champion Barbora Krejcikova, Spain's Cristina Bucsa, and the American Alycia Parks—the very player who eliminated her in Angers, among others.
The tennis player has been promoting her new OnlyFans account on her social media. She is not the first athlete to associate with the adult platform; her compatriot Alexandre Muller, as well as Australia's Nick Kyrgios, had previously ventured onto the platform, although Dodin is the first WTA player to do so.
“Discover a universe where tennis meets sensuality, always with style 😈💋” says the tennis player’s profile on OnlyFans.
In one of the published photos, the 29-year-old wrote:  "For those who don't know me yet, I was the 46th player in the world, I had the chance to reach the round of 16 at the Australian Open in 2024, and I grew up with a racket in my hand," she wrote. "My style is power and boldness on the court. After ups, downs, a WTA title, a short forced break, and a return to the courts, I share a little more than tennis here: a piece of my history and my life.)
The former World No. 46 recently defended her decision to undergo surgery during her time off in her interview with RMC Sport. "Everyone told me it would be impossible for me to play after the surgery, as if I had watermelons! They're not small, but there are suitable bras and I feel comfortable. I spoke a lot with my surgeon about the possible effects on my game. He reassured me, and so far, everything is going well.”
"Simona Halep [who had a breast reduction while playing as a junior], but they were very, very big. That handicapped her. But yes, it's true that I must be the first to play with breast augmentations; there has to be a first for everything."
