Former world number one Kim Clijsters and Martina Hingis will play in an exhibition match in Dallas next year. Both players had a relatively successful career at the highest level and won multiple Grand Slams. Both players will feature in an exhibition match in Dallas in 2025. The match will take place during the Dallas Open. From 2025, the competition will be upgraded to WTA 500. Both players are quoted in a report expressing excitement about featuring in the event.
“I’m excited to play in the Women’s Tennis Classic at the 2025 Dallas Open,” said Clijsters. “It’s an honor to share the court with a great champion like Martina Hingis. I am looking forward to playing against her once again, this time in front of the incredible tennis fans in Texas.”

Clijsters finished her career in 2022. She lifted four Grand Slams. Her most successful competition was the US Open, where she won the title three times. Her first mega-event was the US Open in 2005, when she defeated Mary Pierce in the final in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 6-1. Her last major title was the Australian Open in 2011, where she got the better of China’s Li Na in the final with a score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
On the other hand, Hingis is also a former world number one who finished her career with five Grand Slam titles. Her most successful competition was the Australian Open, where she lifted three titles. Her last major title was also the Australian Open in 199,9 where she defeated France’s Amelie Mauresmo in the final in straight sets with a score of 6-2, 6-3.
