Simona Halep is through to the semi-finals on her return to action at the Prague Open as the number one seed remained on course with victory over Magdalena Frech.
Halep, the World No.2 showed her class with a 6-2, 6-0 win; she will next take on Irina Begu or Sara Sorribes-Tormo who will face off shortly.
This is after the former Wimbledon and French Open champion had to endure two three-set clashes against Polona Hercog and Barbora Krejicikova; in her opening two matches but this was a lot more simpler.
Statistics wise, she hit 22 winners to Frech's 6; which flanked both players hitting unforced errors. Halep was given 12 break point opportunities hitting six; as well as limiting her opponent to only three taking one as her class was shown throughout.
Is this the Romanian's week?
