Martina Navratilova had enough and she lashed out on social media platform Twitter against the patriarchal nature of society.
Navratilova's response came when she saw a post on social media that enraged her. The post in question tells the story of Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin, a physicist who proposed in 1925 that the sun was actually made out of helium and hydrogen. A professor to whom she explained rejected her theory but realized a few years later that she is right and took credit.
