The 2026 tennis season continues this next week with the Hobart International taking place taking place from January 12-17.
A stacked field will take to the court in Australia with the hopes of kicking off their campaign by lifting a trophy. It will not be easy, with their route possibly involving overcoming some of the best players on the WTA Tour.
Among the leading lights who are involved include two-time champion Elise Mertens. Emma Raducanu is second seed alongside McCartney Kessler, Iva Jovic, Ann Li and Eva Lys. While Venus Williams will be a wildcard having been announced over this past week.
Kessler is defending champion and will return aiming to defend their title. It is the 31st edition of the Hobart International and part of the WTA 250 tournaments and it will take place at the Hobart International Tennis Centre.
UK tennis fans will be able to follow all the live action from Down Under on Sky Sports. Australian viewers can keep up with the events on beIN Sports while fans from America closely following the progress of their top players can watch on the Tennis Channel.
