Simona Halep has urged more players to get vaccinated and follow her lead so that tennis can return to normal without bubbles.
Halep tested positive for Coronavirus last October and skipped the end of the 2020 season as a result.
She received her vaccination in February and despite an up and down season for the Romanian on the court, off it she now feels at ease.
One player who won't is Stefanos Tsitsipas who said he won't get it until it becomes mandatory earlier this week.
“I don’t feel afraid, because I am vaccinated,” the former world No 1 said. “I feel protected. I am taking care. I wear the mask when many people are around.”
“I feel much better when the tournament is open,” she added. “I don’t like the bubbles. I feel very stressed when I’m in the bubble. So if people can vaccinate more and more, [it] will be better, because we will not have more restrictions any more.”
