Western & Southern Open Cincinnati Day 3 Schedule of Play with Barty, Osaka, Gauff, Medvedev

A very packed day 3 in Cincinnati will feature Ashleigh Barty, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas and the return of Naomi Osaka who will play Coco Gauff.

Day two at the Western & Southern Open was a very exciting one albeit it was plagued by rain for most of it. The whole slate of matches was not fully played which means day 3 will feature even more great matches than before. Play will start one hour earlier than before due to the packed schedule.

We will get underway with Khachanov taking on Auger-Aliassime at 16:00 CET with Murray against Hurkacz following after that match. Daniil Medvedev will take on McDonald which should be entertaining as well as Sinner vs Isner. Alexander Zverev will play Harris while Monfils will try to extend his great run of form against De Minaur.

The evening session will feature an in-form Tiafoe against Diego Schwartzman. The last ATP match of the day will see American Sebastian Korda take on Stefanos Tsitsipas. It's a great way to end the day which will hopefully be mostly dry. The WTA programme will kick off with a banger between Andreescu and Muchova at 16:00.

At the same time, Svitolina will take on Kerber with the match of the day following after that at 17:30 CET. Coco Gauff will take on Naomi Osaka which should feature packed stands. Ashleigh Barty will also play today after her match was pushed back to today because of the rain.

There are other notable matches as well such as Kvitova - Kudermetova, Azarenka - Riske, Bencic - Rogers, Sabalenka - Badosa, Krejcikova - Yastremska and more. The evening schedule will feature Halep playing Pegula, Muguruza playing Garcia and Pliskova Putitnseva.
