Iga Swiatek extends lead in the WTA Race rankings

Iga Swiatek has almost double the points of the number two in the WTA Rankings and after winning Roland Garros she has almost triple the points of the number two in the WTA race.

What can you possibly say about the season Iga Swiatek is having. The Polish player opened well in Australia but Ashleigh Barty dominated. Many thought she would continue to dominate but no, it was Iga Swiatek who emerged and dominated winning now 35 matches in a row. After her Roland Garros triumph, she further extended her lead in the WTA Race.

She has almost three times the points the number two in the race Ons Jabeur has. Jessica Pegula is having an excellent season and she is up to number three in the race. Another American is now 4th with Coco Gauff being there thanks to her run to the final. Paula Badosa is 5th, Maria Sakkari 6th and Daria Kasatkina 7th. The top 10 concludes with Collins, Keys and Kudermetova.
