Coco Gauff defeated Liudmila Samsonova in the Mubadala Citi DC Open with a score of 6-3, 6-3, advancing to her second final of the season.
The start of the hard court championships in the US Open series couldn't have been better for the young star Coco Gauff. Not only did she secure three victories and reach another final, but she also displayed an impressive level of play throughout the tournament.

Although she faced three break points against her in the next game, the 19-year-old athlete managed to hold on and maintain her lead at 3-1.
Samsonova tried to take control of the match, but Gauff's excellent defensive skills and powerful serves in critical moments kept her ahead. With a fantastic attitude and constantly engaging the home crowd, Gauff displayed impeccable play and get a victory by 6-3, 6-3.
In the final, Gauff will face the Greek sensation Maria Sakkari, who defeated her compatriot and doubles partner, Jessica Pegula, in the first semifinal.
