In light of Halep's second doping violation, former player
Chris Evert has come out in support of the player explaining that she can't see her using anything willingly.
Simona Halep was recently charged with a second doping violation due to irregularities in her biological passport and she has now two active and more importantly separate doping charges that need to be investigated. The first one is yet to be resolved and this one only further complicates things for the former number one who is on the sidelines waiting to get back to a tennis court.
It'll be a while until that happens but in the meantime, former player Chris Evert keeps backing Halep's claim of innocence. She wrote on Twitter that she can't see Halep using PED's:
"It’s very hard for me to believe Simona would intentionally use PED’s…."
