Jabeur confirms minor surgery was a success: "I should be able to soon get back to work"

Ons Jabeur confirmed that her minor surgery was a success and that she will return to tennis practices very soon in the hope of being back on the court quickly.

Jabeur skipped over the double in Abu Dhabi and Doha due to a minor surgery that needed to be done. She was keen on playing but ultimately the best course of action was for her to get the surgery now. She did that and she'll be out for a while but fans will be glad to know that the surgery was a success.

She provided an update on Instagram:

"Hi Everyone. This is an update on my medical situation. The minor surgery has been done and according to my medical team, it's been successful I should be able to go back on the court and get back to work in the next week or so, I wanted to thank from the bottom of my heart, every single person who sent messages and showed support and Love. I am really blessed to have you all behind me. Can't wait to be back on the tour and share more memories with you."
