In a match she'd like to forget sooner rather than later, American tennis player
Madison Keys was completely out of sorts as she fell to
Kayla Day at
Roland Garros.
Keys was ousted by her compatriot in the second round, as Day recorded a 6-2 4-6 6-4 victory. The match saw Keys dominate in the winners category, hitting 40 to only 10 by her opponent.
However, the 20th seed was unable to develop a rhythm, which led to her hitting an insane 74 unforced errors (to 23 by Day) during the match. Despite her errant play, Keys was able to capture a set, although her mistakes proved to be too much as Day finally capitalized on her opponent's shaky play to escape with the victory and advance to the third round.
