Johanna Konta has been withdrawn from the singles draw at this year's Wimbledon before her initial tie with Katerina Siniakova was set to take place on Tuesday at the All England Lawn & Tennis Club.
Konta, a recent winner in Nottingham who was set to be 27th seed at Wimbledon has been withdrawn having been classified as a close contact of a member of her team that tested positive for Covid-19.
As a result, Wang Yafan will take her position as a lucky loser in the draw and will face Siniakova as a result on Tuesday.
