Petra Kvitova is not enjoying tennis life right now as the Czech player is out of the Rome Masters due to a right foot injury and it's a bad timing after her recent Miami Open success.
Petra Kvitova won't be playing at the Italian Open but she remains hopeful of playing at Roland Garros due to pain in her right foot. She announced her withdrawal from the event on social media explaining that the pain is too severe to play right now but the hope is that she will be ready for the French Open:
"Unfortunately my right foot is continuing to cause me pain so, after consulting my team, I have made the difficult decision to withdraw from Rome. I will mis the beautiful site, the Italian fans and I would like to wish the tournament a great week. I'll now work hard to do everything I can to be ready for the French Open."
It's an unfortunate development after she played so well at the Miami Open not long ago.
