Mirra Andreeva won over $500,000 from Dubai title breakthrough but can't spend it for this reason

Mirra Andreeva pocketed over $500,000 for her incredible Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships run but won't be receiving any of it herself she confirmed as her father looks after her finances.

Andreeva banked close to $600,000 and 1,000 ranking points and has now earned $3,799,867 but Andreeva can't let the money go to her head as she doesn't even have a bank account yet.

She revealed that her dad takes care of it all and that she merely hopes to get 'chips and a can of coke' with the earnings that she has accrued this week. In the past, Andreeva has stated that she wanted a dog for reaching a certain ranking milestone but despite winning Dubai, the dreams of grandeur aren't as grand this time as she looks at the bigger picture.

She said that she has already accomplished the goal that she set herself at the end of the year and doesn't know if anything what she wants.

"All questions to my dad. It all goes on his credit card because I don't have my own yet. I cannot have my own bank account because I'm not 18. I'm hoping that he will leave me some to spend somewhere, to buy chips and Coke," she said after her title triumph this past Sunday.

"I'm going to ask him. Honestly, I don't even know what I want. Now I think about it and I feel like I have everything I ever wanted. I won the tournament. I won it. I've already reached my goal that I've set for myself by the end of the year."

She continued on a similar tact albeit going from saying that she has all she wants to expressing her love of shopping albeit her dad she said keeps her on a tight leash as such and doesn't like going shopping. So albeit she might go around the Dubai Malls, it is up to her dad.

While Mirra Andreeva has pocketed a lot of money in recent months, she can't spend any of it.

While it is a family affair, she also has super coach Conchita Martinez involved who has been a massive part in her uptick and getting the most out of a player who can't even commit fully to the tour yet due to age eligibility restrictions.

"My family is traveling with me. I have a great team. I don't know what else I need. I feel happy and I feel this is all I need. I have no idea. I think it will all go to my dad's credit card. Maybe he's going to buy himself something. I have no idea."

"I like shopping. I think every girl likes shopping. Doesn't matter what I buy, just as long as I buy something I already feel good. It can be jewelry. It can be a pair of jeans. It can be socks. It can be, I don't know, a cap. As long as I bought something, I already feel good and I feel like the day is successful."

"I don't think we're going to go to Dubai Mall because my dad is probably going to hate me if I tell him I want to go to Dubai Mall. Yeah, he hates shopping and he hates spending his time on the shopping malls. I don't know. Of course, I do like shopping. I like to buy something.
