Muguruza believes that having that strong foundation going into the next Grand Slam will give her an advantage; compared to other players.

“I am planning to play the US hard court tournaments in preparation for the US Open and clay court tournaments, if the situation allows it. Mental toughness is going to be the key for players when they return. It is a question of resistance and mental strength. Whoever is stronger will have the easiest path to victory”, said Muguruza.
