Naomi Osaka shares fashion taste over the past year, compares photos to 'real life' in the gym

Former World No.1 Naomi Osaka has millions of followers on social media, and these fans were treated to a surprise as the Japanese superstar uploaded several photos that showed her fashion trend over the past year.

The four-time Grand Slam champion took some time to give birth to her first daughter in 2023, before returning to the WTA tour last year. Following a tumultuous 2024 season, Osaka began 2025 by finishing runner-up at the ASB Classic, before falling the the third round of the Australian Open.

Osaka reflects on difference between real life and tennis

The Japanese superstar is known for her unique style, as she has been featured on the cover of several fashion magazines. Osaka frequently shares updates with fans, showing what she's wearing as she travels to different locations.

In a surprise move, Osaka took to Instagram to release several pictures as she gave a fashion recap from the previous year. Each picture was a mirror selfie, in which the two-time Australian Open champion wore a fashionable outfit.

"Mini Outfit recap 24: Mirror selfie edition (a little late)," read the caption.

Subsequently, Osaka would post a picture on her Instagram stories, where she posed in her gym mirror following an intense training session.

"Meanwhile in real life😭," she lamented.
