"One of the best first serve, first-strike players" - Barty discusses strengths of Osaka

Ashleigh Barty and Naomi Osaka will face off as the two top favourites for the US Open which begins on Monday.

But according to the World No.1, what makes Osaka such a dangerous opponent when the Aussie ace faces off against the 23-year-old reigning champion.

"Naomi is a pure ball-striker. When she has time to set up particularly after her first serve, she's one of the best first-serve, first-strike players I've ever come up against," Barty said of Osaka, per Reem Abulleil.
