Paula Badosa has got off to a great start at Wimbledon by beating Alison Riske-Amritraj 6-3, 6-3, in a match that should have been played yesterday, Tuesday, but was called off due to weather problems in London.
In the first set, a break was enough to take it. He held his serve firmly, saving two break points in the last game, with 5-3 in favor.
The second set followed a similar course. They started breaking each other's serve several times until Paula won her game. At 5-3 and Riske-Amritraj serving, the Spaniard broke to take the victory.
In the second round she will face Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk, who defeated eighth-seeded Maria Sakkari after losing the first set 0-6.

Paula hasn’t been able to play any Slams this year due to all the injuries.
But let’s make one thing clear, she’s still one of the best players in the world.
It’s great to see her back on court.
Happy. Healthy. Glowing.
