Pliskova reunites with coach Sascha Bajin for 2023 after fruitful previous spell including Wimbledon final

Karolina Pliskova is reuniting with former coach Sascha Bajin for the 2023 season after some major success in 2021.

The confirmation came on Twitter as Pliskova posted a picture of them with the hashtag 'reunited' with Bajin expressing gratitude for being able to work with Pliskova again. He was asked by a fan about the return and he replied:

"Takes a big person to admit something and can’t be easy to ask your old coach back. For that, I’m thankful."

Bajin and Pliskova previously worked together for 18 months with their best result coming at the 2021 Wimbledon where Pliskova played in the final against Barty. It was a loss but it seemed like a good partnership that will bring more great things in the future.
