"Post of the Year": Marketa Vondrousova shares hilarious photo of WTA Finals line-up as construction workers amid Cancun chaos

Marketa Vondrousova will make her debut at the WTA Finals over the next week with the draw set to take place for the season finale on Friday evening. But it is a tournament that has descended into chaos and even players are now poking fun at it.

Vondrousova shared a photo which journalist Jose Morgado said was post of the year and it is hard to disagree. It features the WTA Finals line-up albeit including Karolina Muchova who is not playing due to injury as construction workers.

This amid the tournament currently still being built. Players are not allowed to practice on the main stadium until the day before the tournament begins and stands are still being built.

This has sent the PTPA over to Cancun among others as concerns continue that it will either be unsafe or won't take place.

Albeit priorly in Guadalajara and Merida, similar situations have occurred albeit under less of a microscope and they have been built in time. But despite the mishaps, it is the players finding the funny side.
