It will be hosted by New York Junior Tennis & Learning and begins on August 16 through to August 24. The field in Bronx includes three rising American stars including CoCo Vandeweghe.
Vandeweghe has just returned from an ankle injury which saw her sidelined for most of the early part of 2019 and will look to build form again which saw the former World Number 9 reach the semi-finals at both the Australian and US Open.
Kristie Ahn and Bernarda Pera have also received wildcards; after good form as of late with a second WTA quarter-final for Ahn and a third semi-final already this year for Pera.
They join the likes of Wang Qiang, Barbora Strycova and Katerina Siniakova in the field which would have included Petra Kvitova but she withdrew after accepting a wildcard initially.
The winner is set to receive $43,000 and 280 points towards their ranking; the runner-up $21,400 as well as 180 points.
This goes down to the first round; where the losers will receive $1,920 and 1 point on their ranking; as the tournament in the Bronx returns after a seven year absence.
