The third edition of the
Jasmin Open Monastir is set to take place at the Magic Hotel Skanes in Tunisia from September 9-15, 2024. Here is the breakdown of the
Prize money and Points on offer at the WTA 250 event.
There will be 280 WTA Ranking points on offer for the winner of the tournament.
Elise Mertens is defending champion rolling past Jasmine Paolini (of Grand Slam finalist fame) last year when the Italian still grinded it out on the smaller tournaments.
It is a pretty poor line-up this year with
Ons Jabeur being injured not helping their cause. She is usually a top attraction. Instead it will be Mertens who could face. a top tie with Lesia Tsurenko or Eva Lys.
Clara Burel, Diane Parry are also top seeds whilst Harriet Dart who was due to play decided against it.
Prize money increased since last year
The prize money purse at the tournament has increased again. The winner grabs the lions share of $35,250 with 250 points. While the losing finalist seals $20,830 and 163 points. Semi-Finals gets $11,610 with 98 points. Whilst it goes all the way down to $2,890 with one point for that accolade.
