Raducanu on expectations for 2023 season: "Taking the lessons I’ve learnt this year and applying them on to the next one"

Emma Raducanu took over the HSBC's social media profiles to answer some questions from fans including next year's 2023 expectations.

Raducanu talked about many topics during the session including her heritage which is rather unique. Born to a Romanian father and Chinese mother, Raducanu admitted she spoke both languages during the talk:

“Languages, I speak English, Canadian-American – no I’m kidding, some Mandarin and Romanian."

Asked about her favourite event from last year, Raducanu named the event in Seoul while she loved training in Singapore:

“My favorite place to play tennis in the world – tournament is Seoul, and training is Singapore."

On practicing, Raducanu added:

“What motivates me to keep training is the satisfaction feeling I get after training and at the end of the day. I feel really proud for pushing myself, even if I might not have felt like it."

On expectations, she said:

“I’m really looking forward to another full year on tour. I just had my first one, and taking the lessons I’ve learnt this year and applying them on to the next one."
