Emma Raducanu will make her WTA doubles debut on Monday evening after she was confirmed in both draws for Citi Open Washington with her singles campaign starting tomorrow.
The US Open champion will team up with fellow teenager and tennis talent in
Clara Tauson in the WTA 250 event in an interesting complexion given that Raducanu hardly played doubles in juniors and is only just making her WTA debut.
While for Tauson, she has played at Grand Slam tournaments in doubles so will bring the experience albeit against the third seeds Lucie Hradecka and Monica Niculescu.
Should they prevail, Sophie Chang-Astra Sharma and Makenna Jones-Sloane Stephens are the match to watch with a second round tie up for grabs.
