Raducanu visits Porsche Motorsport while in Stuttgart and tries Formula E simulator

Emma Raducanu is a self-declared adrenaline junkie who used to love racing growing up and she got a chance to try out a formula e simulator in Stuttgart.

Raducanu is an ambassador for Porsche and she got a chance to visit the headquarters of the company while in town for the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. It was an eventful day for the Brit, much more so than her day in office because she was beaten quite easily in the first round of the event.

At the HQ, Raducanu got a chance to try out a Formula E simulator which was great fun for her as grew up and still watches Formula One regularly. Speaking about her experience:

“Today the experience at Porsche was pretty fun. Getting a tour around the Development Centre has been really interesting. For me to get in the simulator was such an experience. I honestly couldn’t believe how different it was to being in a regular car on the track. I do have a lot of respect of drivers to get in the simulator and take it naturally and easy."

Asked about the similarity between motorsports and tennis, Raducanu explained:

“You have the competition, the adrenaline, and the pressure moments. And you have to make a decision that could be make or break in an extremely short time."
