Serena Williams and
Venus Williams continue to expand their business range, with the sisters reportedly investing in Shares, a new online company in Belgium.
Shares is an online investment platform, and the company recently revealed the Williams' sisters as it's new ambassadors. The duo had invested in the company in 2022, and upon being announced as the new ambassadors, Shares had already acquired over 150,000 users.
The company caught the attention of the American tennis duo soon after it raised $40 million in a funding round led by the Valar Fund, leading to their decision to take a chance on the company.
"It's rare to find companies that are equally passionate about opening up opportunities and breaking down the barriers to entry that have kept traditional spaces like investing from being fully inclusive," said Serena.
Shares enables people to invest via the app, and currently only entertains investments in the UK, France and Poland, with Belgium being the newest addition.
