Serena Williams breaks another US Open attendance record

The 3rd match Serena Williams played at the US Open broke the US Open attendance record once more with this night being the final one where she'll play.

All three nights have broken the record for attendance as the first night featured 29,402 for the night session. That was improved on the second night she played against Kontaveit with 29,959 people coming out to watch the match.

Now for the 3rd time, the attendance record got broken with 29,837 people showing up to watch her play Tomljanovic. It proved a losing effort for her which means she won't be playing again. The day session featured 42,202 which combined broke the overall US Open attendance record as well.
