Serena Williams makes surprise cameo during Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl half-time show performance

Serena Williams was a shock cameo during the Super Bowl half-time show as Kendrick Lamar performed his hit-track Not Like Us with the use of the legendary tennis star perhaps a clever ploy.
Williams who retired from the sport two years ago was seen showing off her dance moves on a corner of the stage in the closing minutes of the performances as Lamar performed his diss track aimed at fellow rapper Drake.
She pulled off the so called 'Crip Walk' made famous in Crompton during the 70's and wrote on social media afterwards. “Let’s go Super Bowl halftime??! I died a little!”
The lyrics of the song include a defence of Williams herself with Lamar warning Drake to 'not speak on Serena'. The Canadian himself has used her name in multiple songs after it was rumoured that they dated in the early 2010's.

So in reality if Lamar was looking to get further under the skin of his rival, he did just that. While Williams who has since got married to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian since rumours of their relationship swirled round and were brought back to the fore with this song looked great as she returned to the spotlight for this.
She has become a mother again and albeit has flirted with the idea at times of returning to the sport seemingly won't be going down the route of her sister Venus who seemingly is gearing up albeit through engagement rumours also to be returning once more.
She played Indian Wells and Miami last year and could do so again with no signs yet of a farewell tour for the legendary one half of the sister double act. Serena like Venus has remained in the spotlight but a Super Bowl half-time show reinforces that to the hilt. Certainly a move to get both the music and sporting world talking.

- Having spent weeks and weeks through the years on tour, I can say with confidence that Conchita was (is) one of the very few who realize the surprising level of maturity (and sometimes lack of) which Mirra seems to have developed in such a demanding adult world of Pro-Tennis.
