Sevastova crushes Svitolina in the airport hangar to book final spot

Bett1 Aces winner Elina Svitolina played a highly anticipated showdown versus Sevastova but the game went quite different from what was expected

The match between Svitolina and Sevastova was a highly anticipated one especially after the good display from Svitolina earlier in the week. What we saw from Elina was quite different from earlier in the week. She got completely crushed in the set losing it 6-1. Sevastova was the superior player since the 1st game and the result shows just that.

The 2nd set didn't start any better for Elina who lost found herself down 3-0 in no time. A comeback was never in question as Elina simply didn't have it today. Her opponent didn't make it easy for her as well as she played as good as she ever played. Ultimately Sevastova won with the end result being 6-1 6-1.

She will face Kvitova in the final of the bett1 Aces tomorrow.
