Former World No.3
Sloane Stephens seems to have regained her confidence following her victory at last week's L'Open 35 de Saint-Malo., a WTA 125k event in France.
The 30-year old defeated Belgian Greet Minnen 6-3 6-4 in the final, which match lasted for an hour and 40 minutes. This was Sloane's first WTA 125k title and the American took to social media soon afterwards to express her gratitude and renewed desire to compete.
"Happy to get the win here in Saint Malo! Let’s go for more. Clay court szn we’re here," Stephens captioned her post.
Stephens will next be participating at the
Rome Open, where she'll face Argentine Nadia Podoroska in the opening round.
