Svitolina's comeback continues with Internationaux de Strasbourg semi-final run, first since 2021

Elina Svitolina is into her first semi-final in an event above 125k since returning to the WTA Tour seeing off Varvara Gracheva on Thursday afternoon at Internationaux de Strasbourg.

It was a 6-3, 6-4 win for Svitolina who saw off the World No.41 and is her first semi-final since 2021 prior to becoming a mother.

She faces either Clara Burel or Bernarda Pera in the semi-finals tomorrow and will face Martina Trevisan next week at Roland Garros.

Compared to her husband Gael Monfils who has been struggling to find form, Svitolina seems to be hitting some of her best again very quickly.
