WTA Draw confirmed for 2023 French Open Roland Garros including Swiatek, Sabalenka, Rybakina, Gauff, Jabeur and Pegula

The WTA Draw has been completed for the 2023 French Open at Roland Garros which is set to take place from May 28 - June 10.

Iga Swiatek is the two time defending champion and will face Cristina Bucsa in her first clash of the tournament.

Aryna Sabalenka will be her main challenger and will face Ukrainian ace Marta Kostyuk in an interesting tie given that the latter's friendship with Paula Badosa broke down due to deciding to partner with her in doubles.

Elena Rybakina will face a qualifier or Lucky Loser with Linda Noskova or Danka Kovinic the second round opponent. Danielle Collins will face Jessica Pegula in an All American clash.

Victoria Azarenka faces Bianca Andreescu in a standout first round clash. Coco Gauff will start against Rebeka Masarova. Ons Jabeur will face Lucia Bronzetti in her opener. Maria Sakkari faces a tough opener against Karolina Muchova.

Daria Kasatkina faces German Jule Niemeier with Marketa Vondrousova, a former finalist against Alycia Parks in her quarter.

Former champion Barbora Krejcikova faces Lesia Tsurenko. Karolina Pliskova also faces former Grand Slam champion, Sloane Stephens.

Other first round ties include clay court specialist Martina Trevisan facing the returning Elina Svitolina, Camila Giorgi - Alize Cornet, and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova as she aims to rise up the rankings again will face Linda Fruhvirtova. As well as Magda Linette facing Leylah Fernandez.
