The start of the second set was hopeful for Kenin. The American broke her opponent in the very first game and got a 1-0 lead. However, since that moment, Swiatek has won 24 out of 30 following points and smashed her opponent 6-1 in the second set to win the 2020 Roland Garros and her first Grand Slam title.
