Roland Garros, there was no doubt about who is going to become the WTA Player of the Month October 2020.
After Sofia Kenin became the WTA Player of the Month in January after her Australian Open triumph, Naomi Osaka in September after the US Open victory and Simona Halep was voted as the best WTA player in February and August, we saw another player to become the player of the month.
Iga Swiatek was voted as the best player of the October 2020 after he dominant performance at the 2020 Roland Garros, and so she enjoys another achievement.
"After winning against Simona, I already thought about this tournament as, like, my lifetime achievement. Really, I had no expectations," Swiatek admitted.
"I think at the end I really just enjoyed the moment. It's not that I don't care if I'm going to win or lose. I'm just not thinking about it all the time. I'm focusing on the things I do right now because winning is just an effect of my work that I'm doing every minute."
