Roland Garros semifinal and she had no issues against the Argentinian cruising to her first career Grand Slam final.
Iga Swiatek reached her first career Grand Slam final after defeating Nadia Podoroska in 70 minutes 6-2 6-1. It was a stellar display from the Polish player, one of many she has had over the last two weeks. She set the ton early from the start breaking Podoroska immediately to take a 2-0 lead which grew exponentially over the course of the set until it ended 6-2 for Swiatek. Both of them played aggressive and high-octane tennis but Swiatek balanced her winners better which proved key.
The 2nd set was even more impressive by Swiatek. She continued playing aggressive tennis while Podoroska slowly faltered off. Swiatek had 13 winners and only 8 errors compared to Podoroska which had 1 winner and 7 errors. The 35-minute effort ended with Swiatek winning 6-1.
It was a great display against a player who could not match her in quality or intensity and she continues to play like this she will win the Roland Garros.
