Tennis fans reacted to Naomi Osaka topping the list of highest-paid female athletes despite only playing 14 matches all season long.

Naomi Osaka hasn't played much tennis lately and some of it has to do with injuries and some of it simply due to her opting not to play. She's committed herself to tennis this year admitting she found joy in the sport once again but it doesn't seem that way as she only tallied 14 matches in the year.

It didn't affect her wallet negatively as she still finished as the top earner this year due to various endorsements and other income streams. She earned $51.1 million and very little of that came from tennis. We bring you some fan reactions below:
