Victoria Azarenka just defeated Daria Kasatkina at
Wimbledon in a big win to reach the Last 16 with the former World No.1 shaking off poor form as of late.
Azarenka will now face Elina Svitolina or Sofia Kenin. Svitolina like the former Grand Slam champion experienced motherhood and returned and for Kenin, a period in the tennis doldrums.
But it was nearly a sleepless night for Azarenka before seeing off the tenth seed 6-2, 6-4.
Having her son Leo in tow who she won custody of means that she has an extra aspect of her tennis life that needs accounting for.
Taking to Twitter, she joked about her ordeal preparing for her third round match and struggling to get Leo to sleep.
She elaborated further and said that he always wants to do so much when it is time to sleep and there is 'no busier person'.
"There is no busier person than a child who needs to go to bed all of a sudden there is so many things he wants to do," Azarenka wrote on Twitter.
Azarenka will find out her opponent later this evening with Svitolina-Kenin slated to face off on Court Three at 17:45 local time.
But now she is through, a bad nights' sleep might be the omen for a good run at SW19 given her current series so far.
