Yulia Putintseva is the first player through into the semi-finals at the
Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest after seeing off Kateryna Kozlova 6-7, 6-0, 7-5 coming from a set down to do so.
So far this week, the top seed has seen off Ekaterine Gorgodze (6-2, 6-4) as well as Ana Konjuh (6-4, 6-3) with her run of straight sets wins coming to an end in this one after losing the first.
But she rallied to sweep the second before nipping through a closely fought decider on the clay.
Her win featured an all important 7/10 on break points compared to 3/7 for the Ukrainian as well as 65% winning percentage on first serve with no double faults and four aces compared to six and one from her opponent.
She will face the winner of the unseeded Quarter-Final between Dalma Galfi and Olga Danilovic which is currently ongoing for a place in the final.
