Will the 2020 US Open be canceled or postponed?

At this time, the USTA plans to host the US Open as scheduled. Currently, we are not implementing any changes to the 2020 US Open, and planning for the event is ongoing. We are continually monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation through regular briefings with government, security and medical experts. The USTA's top priority is the health, safety and well-being of everyone involved with the US Open.
How is the National Tennis Center being deployed in New York’s efforts to address the impact of COVID-19?
New York City’s Office of Emergency Management (OEM) coordinated the transformation of 12 indoor tennis courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center's Indoor Training Center into almost 100,000 square feet of supplemental hospital space that aims to ease the burden on local NYC hospitals. Separately, Louis Armstrong Stadium is being utilized to prepare and distribute up to 25,000 packages of meals every day for COVID-19 patients, workers at the city’s various crisis centers, and city children who ordinarily rely on school-provided meals.
How can I help the effort at the National Tennis Center?
We have been heartened by the number of people asking how they can help. Although there is no specific fund at the National Tennis Center, you can donate to our community via the Mayor’s fund, as well as the Health and Hospitals fund.
