Venus Williams spotted in brand new Lacoste kit after halting her own brand EleVen

The former world number one Venus Williams wore a Lacoste
outfit during the WTA 1000 event in Indian Wells.
The 43-year-old is currently taking part in the competition where
she got the entry through wild card. Williams was spotted wearing the Lacoste outfit
for the first time. The California-born was appointed as the global ambassador
of the fashion brand in 2022.
Williams’ first-round opponent in the competition is Japan’s
Nao Hibino. Their round of 128 clash was suspended on Wednesday because of the
poor weather.
Williams will be hoping to have a good outing this time
around, especially after disappointing outings in the recent past.
The current world number 487 is a seven-time Grand Slam
winner. She won her first major title in 2000 when she defeated the former
world number one Lindsay Davenport in the final in straight sets with a score
of 6–3, 7–6(7–3).
Her last major title came at Wimbledon as well where he
defeated her sister Serena Williams in the final with a score of 7-5, 6-4.
Williams also won an Olympic gold medal for the US in 2000 where
she defeated Russia’s Elena Dementieva in the final in straight sets with a
score of 6-2, 6-4.
