Being one of the moms on the WTA Tour, former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka was a surprise guest at her son Leo's school, where she showed off her Olympic medals.

The Belarusian star sometimes travels with her 8-year old son to tournaments. However, the reverse was the case as Azarenka visited her son's school, much to the delight of his classmates and teachers.

Azarenka shares her tennis journey with the class

The two-time Australian Open champion took to social media to post a video where she detailed her adventures at Leo's school. Azarenka revealed she detailed her tennis journey with the class, in addition to giving them life lessons on dedication and perseverance. Furthermore, she brought along her Olympic medals, a mixed doubles gold and a singles bronze she won at the London 2012 Games.

"I was honored to be invited," said Azarenka in the video. "I signed maybe five or six arms. Leo told me afterwards, 'Mommy, when you left, all the class wanted you to sign their shoes, too, so I think we would've gone [through] everything in the classroom for me to sign."

Azarenka revealed she was surprised with some hand-written thank you letters from Leo's classmates the next day.

"[The kids] have no idea how much this actually means to me, because I will keep them, and I will absolutely think of them when I play next time," added Azarenka.
