VIDEO: Andreescu picks Shapovalov over Drake as best Canadian rapper

At the end of her media day press conference, Bianca Andreescu was asked a very interesting question from Rex the reporter. Rex is a fairly young reporter who was asking interesting questions all throughout media day. Andreescu was surprised when she saw Rex but could not hold back a smile.

As a fan of rap music, Andreescu was asked who was the best Canadian rapper, Drake, Denis Shapovalov or someone else. Her response:

I don't know if someone can compete with Denis. He's been really stepping up his game. Honestly, I think Denis is a really good rapper and he can do way more in that if he practices. Maybe he can collab with someone."

Andreescu also noted that something like that is good for tennis because the sport needs it:

"It's really nice that he's doing that because it's brings a different vibe to the tennis game and I feel like we need that. We have a lot of younger audiences. Other than Denis, I really like Drake, The Weeknd, and Jessie Reyez."
