WTA US Open Projected quarterfinals with Barty vs Swiatek

Ashleigh Barty is the top seed at the US Open and many are expecting the Australian to storm to another trophy. In order to do so, she might have to go through Iga Swiatek who is projected to face Barty in the semifinal. A very tough opponent on her own day Swiatek has not played consistent tennis in 2021 and that might prove key.

Another bombastic quarterfinal will be the one between 2nd seed Aryna Sabalenka and 8th seed Barbora Krejcikova. It would be a fascinating tactical battle between a hard hitter in Sabalenka and Krejcikova who employs more precise shots than flat and hard. Either way, we hope it will happen cause it will be epic.

Naomi Osaka as the 3rd seed might face Elina Svitolina in the quarterfinal. Svitolina can make your day miserable with long rallies and Osaka will need to be on her best if this matchup materialises. Being the defending champion should motivate Osaka who has not played well as of late.

The final quarterfinal is another polarizng one between two ver yhard hitting players. Karolina Pliskova who turned her season around during the grass eason might go up against Bianca Andreescu. Andreescu struggled with injuries but if she plays well and is healthy she will be tough to beat.
