VIDEO: Bouchard's comeback continues with rehab update

Genie Bouchard began to show signs of resurgence in 2020 with her first WTA final in four years and her best Grand Slam showing for years reaching the third round of the French Open.

Transitioning into the 2021 season, the hope would have been bright as she reached the final of the Abierto Zapopan Open for an eighth career WTA championship match.

But she fell to Sara Sorribes Tormo in straight sets and conceded afterwards that she needed surgery for a tear in her right shoulder.

Since then, the 2021 season has been one which has seen the Canadian transition into a role on the Tennis Channel.

But recent Instagram videos show a comeback continues as she will hope to be ready in time for the start of the new season.
