(VIDEO) Celebrating prematurely: Emma Raducanu hilariously thinks match is over earlier than expected at Billie Jean King Cup

Emma Raducanu was down a set and a break against Caroline Garcia at the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup and rallied to seal the win 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. She got her best win on clay in her career so far as a result and kept Great Britain hopes alive. But she thought she won it before she did.

In a hilariously embarrassing moment, Raducanu fist pumped the air and looked over to her teammates walking towards the net at 5-1. She then swiftly realised that she wasn't in fact over the finishing line yet and needed one more game. Trying to play it off, she hit a tennis ball away and looked bemused as she went back to the baseline. She didn't let this phase her as she won on her serve at 6-2. But a hilarious moment nonetheless.
