The
Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers are taking place between April 12-April 13, 2024 with sixteen teams playing for eight spots in the finals which will take place in Seville at the end of the year. With our handy

Top countries include Poland led by
Iga Swiatek,
Emma Raducanu's Great Britain,
Naomi Osaka's Japan and
Angelique Kerber's Germany all vying for spots in the Billie Jean King Cup and all playing across the globe. The sixteen teams are eight teams ranked 3rd-12th in the 2023 Finals except Czech Republic and Spain and eight teams from the play-offs.
Also taking place this week are Qualifiers mainly in Oeiras in Portugal for teams such as Denmark, Latvia and Greece aiming to join the Qualifying Round next season. These matches also act as vital qualifying criteria for the Olympic Games taking place later this year. All matches are played over two days with the first two being played on Friday and the remainder on Saturday. It is best of five so essentially first to three but all clashes get played in their entirety. Canada are the current defending champions in the competition winning it last year.
