Emma Ruducanu made a winning debut at the
Transylvania Open in Cluj-Napoca and after the match, she gave the interview in Romanian.
Emma Raducanu was born in Canada but raised in the United Kingdom. The Brit represents the UK in but her ancestry is quite diverse with her father being Romanian and her mother being Chinese. She is also very proud of her heritage showcased by her knowledge of the Chinese language as well as explaining that two of her tennis idols come from her parent's countries.
One of her idols is Simona Halep who is from Romania like her father and the other is Li Na who is from China like her mother. She also showcased that she knows a bit of Romanian electing to hold the post-match interview in Romanian. If anybody knows Romanian check it out below.
