(VIDEO) "I need physio for my jaw": Eva Lys and Alexandra Eala hilariously rate German snacks with podcast trio Pegula, Keys and Krawczyk

While in Germany for Berlin and various tournaments before Wimbledon, the Players Box decided to find time to take in the latest episode of trying snacks from the respective country and who better to rate them than Eva Lys, Germany's top female tennis star.
Lys was joined by her close friend on tour in Alexandra Eala. The duo have formed part of a new generation of top talents who have become great friends off the court too which also includes Iva Jovic, Zeynep Sonmez, Victoria Mboko and also Coco Gauff. All similar ages and all putting the stigma that they can't be friends aside while being competitive on court.
Brought together by the Players Box (Jessica Pegula, Desirae Krawczyk and Madison Keys) to try some of the best Germany has to offer, Eala and Lys were on form saying they needed a physio for their jaw after trasting one of the sweets while Eala joked that people would pay good money for a half eaten Chocolate piece by Lys.
Lys opens on friendship with Eala
Lys spoke last month about their friendship and how much it means to her as well as of course with Jovic, Sonmez, Mboko etc. “We actually did. I think that’s definitely not just for social media. We actually had a great time," said Lys last month.
“And we also are almost in contact every day, sending each other memes, just laughing about everything that’s happening on tour.
“And I feel like it’s very, very refreshing, not only for us but for everyone else.
“I know there’s like a big topic around the whole ‘friendships are not possible’. And listen, there are so many people that maybe cannot do it, and they don’t, which is also great.
“I feel like everyone should do whatever they feel good with, and if they’re like, ‘Hey, if I’m getting too close to someone and I play with them, I’m not going to play my best’, then don’t do it.
“But I feel like for us, it’s not a secret that we’re competitors. It’s not a secret that whenever I go out and play Alex or Iva or Zeynep, I want to win. They want to win.
“And I don’t know, if something private I shared at dinner is making them play better against me, well then I’ve got to step up my game, you know.

If ITIA wants to play cops-and-robbers they had better wear badges, ID's, and so. There's absolutely no need for intimidation; something I have witnessed at tourneys from a two of these people acting tough and gruff behind the scenes. - UPDATE: Note how the tennis commentators have apparently been afraid to take a stand on Vondrousova's unfair treatment. Nary a word at all. Players are reticent to speak out too strongly as well. - Oh, ITIA "investigated" itself. There ya go, end of story! ITIA is a questionable independent organization, in bed with WTA; both with no accounting to anyone. They have ruined careers unnecessarily, in part by NEVER admitting mistakes nor compromised testings. The agent/tester made the error by a sudden knock at the door. "Unannounced" or not, randomly appearing on someone's property can end in any of a number of ways... and not necessarily a happy ending. At my home anyone going past the property line and warning sign gets a special welcome.
