(VIDEO) Jabeur accepts mixed doubles invite from Frances Tiafoe, sets US Open aim

Ons Jabeur took part in the latest episode of Eurosport Voice Notes and agreed to a potential partnership at the US Open.

Frances Tiafoe was hosted by Jabeur in Tunisia back in May so the duo are friends off the court and in a superb season, he made the plea to play together when he returns home

He said: “This is Frances Tiafoe here, just asking one very important question – when are you planning for us to play mixed doubles together?

“It would be an honour to share a court with you. Especially after how well you took care of me in your country.

“I want to bring my talents out with you on court and [we’re the] two people with the softest hands on the Tour, so let’s make it happen.”

Jabeur, the World No.6, accepted the invitation and suggested they play mixed doubles.

“My bro! I was so happy that you came to Tunisia and hopefully next time you’ll come back,” she said.

“Mixed doubles, I was thinking US Open, we would have an amazing crowd there and I would enjoy playing doubles with you.

“You’re an amazing player and [it’s] always fun to see you. Speak soon and definitely come back to Tunisia.”
